“Lobau” is a video-installation which is the result of a dialogue between me and the artist Miao Fangping. During eight months were were in conversation with each other in the framework of the Vienna-based program QuestionMe & Answer. Our dialogue concentrated on the relation between ecology and technology. While Miao Fangping worked with an action cam fixed on the body and with AI generated images, I worked with a super8 camera to capture the act of recollecting seaweed and water plants from Lobau, a protected side-arm of the Danube river. The film was developed with these same plants.

The video-installation which consists of a short film, a photo, a light-table and notes about the developing process was exhibited at the end of November 2024 in Barvinsky Art Gallery.
